Call for New England Planter Events
The Kings Hants Heritage Connection is planning to produce a promotional brochure about events being held in 2010 to commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the arrival of the New England Planters in the townships of Horton, Cornwallis, Falmouth and Newport. If your organization/society/archives is planning an event, an exhibit, or has on-site interpretation relating to the New England Planters this is your chance for free promotion! Here is what we need. A write-up on the event/exhibit/site (remember to give the name of your organization, your logo, contact information, location, time, cost, brief description (please keep your description brief as the brochure will only be a 2 sided 8.5 x 11.5 piece of paper) – and any other related information) sent to John Whidden at this e-mail address (hjwhidden@ns.sympatico.ca) no later than January 7, 2010.
*Please forward this e-mail to the person within your organization responsible for event planning/promotion.
*I apologize for the quick turn-around time of this request but it came as a result of a late funding opportunity.
Forwarded by Bria Stokesbury, Curator, Kings County Museum on behalf of the Kings Hants Heritage Connection.
