  • Building Blocks Family Outreach is a subsidiary of Kids Action Program. We offer a variety of family resources within the Hants North catchment area via community outreach and in home consultation.
    Connections Beyond Tomorrow: Building Blocks Family Outreach is pleased to have partnered with National Crime Prevention to deliver the first Canadian Connections Beyond Tomorrow program. This innovative program links young families with older citizens in the community for sharing of life skills and pooling of resources. The goal of this program is to create a more empathetic society and lasting relationships between the generations. Bridging the generation gap will prevent isolation and encourage understanding within our communities, thus creating a positive community experience for everyone.     Preschool Programs: Three preschool programs are held at Kennetcook Elementary School, Noel Elementary School, and Maitland Elementary School. For more information on these programs, please contact Kim Burns at (902) 362-2808 or Daphne Goodine at (902) 632-2442.
    Parent and Tot Group: Each Friday at the Kennetcook Fire Hall, join the Parent and Tot Group between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. for planned activities and early literacy initiatives. One Friday per month, this group turns into a cooking workshop which incorporates cost effective ingredients into a meal worth celebrating.
