Ardoise Recreation Centre is an active community meeting place operated by volunteers who are sincere in their desire to enhance the lifestyle in the community. Promoting active living within our communities, Ardoise Recreation Centre offers something for everyone! Join us for non-smoking darts, our seniors' programs, card parties, flee markets, Topps for weight loss and management, and bingo six times per year. If you're looking for some exercise, social time, and fun, come out every Thursday night for square dancing at 8:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome! Do you have a service that you would like to offer the community? Have you thought about starting a club or program? Ardoise Recreation Centre is also available for your next function. With a full kitchen, we offer full catering services and a licensed bar. Belmont Communty Hall offers active communtiy living. Join us every Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. for 45s card games and the second Tuesday of each month for a monthly card tournament - registration begins at 12:30 p.m.
The Women's Institute (WI) is held on the third Thursday of each month.
Get to know your neighbours by taking part in the monthly breakfasts! On the first Saturday of every month take a break from your kitchen and join us at ours from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. for a delicious breakfast amoung friends!

Boulderwood is a fun and relaxed riding facility owned and operated by the Wootton family. Open all year for trail riding, lesson and day camp programs, indoor and outdoor picnic sites, indoor swimming pool and hot tub (New 2006). Tennis court and play areas. Located forty minutes from Halifax in Ardoise, Nova Scotia, Boulderwood is situated conveniently on the scenic Evangeline Trail (Highway #1) between Windsor and Mount Uniacke.

Brooklyn Fire Hall bookings available for Weddings, Anniversaries, Reunions, Retirements, Birthdays, Seminars. This facility is climate controlled. There is ample parking. Seats 180 people. Catering is can be arranged.

The Centre Rawdon Community Hall is open for use by community members. Nominal charges apply.
From October to April, we hold card parties every Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m.
