Avon Valley Golf and Country Club was established in 1971 as a replacement for the old Windsor nine hole course. Play started in 1973 when 12 holes were opened. Since then it has grown to a challenging well groomed 18 hole golf course. Hilly terrain, prevailing winds and small greens, make accuracy a must for good scores. Major improvements started in 1996 and continuing for the next four years will enhance the challenge and enjoyment of an already beautiful course. Avon Valley is noted for its friendly staff and members, making visitors feel welcome. Canteen and bar facilities are on site. On Site rentals include clubs, Power and Pull Carts. Host of the popular Sam Slick Golf Tournament.

Coyote Hill Golf Course is a picturesque par 35, 9 hole course offering fun and relaxation for all golfers. It is situated 20 minutes from Bedford at Newport Corner, 10 miles east of Windsor N.S. this is our 6th full season for the Course. Rates are very reasonable and waiting time if any, is short.
Coyote Hill Golf Course is ideal for the beginner golfer, while offering challenging holes for the more seasoned player. It covers 6 km. of varying terrain, some flat, some hilly, so be prepared for a good work-out!
Situated on the site of a former dairy farm, much of the course offers splendid views from rolling hills of the rural country side.
Power carts are available for rent, and a driving range is available for those wishing to practice their swing. -
Minas view is a very pretty 9 hole course with some of the most spectacular views in the province. Every hole offers a great view of the Minas Basin with the shores of Parsborro and Blomidon in the distance. The course is relatively short with 5 par 3's and 4 par 4's and is easy walking on slightly rolling hills.
Hole # 8 offers a challenge to any golfer. To hit the green in one stroke, a 146 yard drive is required to carry a deep ravine and the Ocean below. -
Our Mission Statement : "To actively promote and administer the game of golf by providing good quality leadership and direction to member clubs and association members and to act as the representative for all member clubs in the Royal Canadian Golf Association." OBJECTIVES To promote, foster and develope golf at all levels in Nova Scotia. To provide a liaison between member clubs and the RCGA. To assist and consult with member clubs on : turf maintenance; handicap procedures; course slope and index rating; rule interpretation and assistance; junior development. To organize and conduct tournaments, in co-operation with member clubs, that will determine Provincial Champions in various divisions.
